Collection: I.I.H Awareness

It is not often that I share something private on my pages but today I would like to share this with you. I want to use this platform to raise awareness for I.I.H. It stands for Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension and is a brain disorder that occurs when there is too much cerebrospinal fluid in the brain for no known reason. It is a rare disease that affects approximately 1 in 200,000 people. This chronic condition mimics a brain tumour but there is no known cause, treatment or cure. Some symptoms include severe ongoing migraines, sudden hearing and vision loss, and cognitive dysfunction. I am blessed to have this business and I can raise awareness around this silent illness. So, each month I will be donating 20% of profits from these two special Delica necklaces to the Australian Brain Foundation to support ongoing research in the hope of a cure. I selected these two crystals as they represent the colours of the ribbon for IIH and are two crystals that have guided me during my 15 year battle with this condition.  From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
